Mentorship Responsibilities:✔ Each student is paired with a mentor, an industry professional or volunteer, tailored to their age, interests, and goals
✔ Conduct workshops and provide ongoing guidance throughout the program
✔ Be available one to two hours per week during specific program weeks
✔ Complete and pass a comprehensive background check before beginning
INTERNSHIP SUPPORT✔ Internship schedules and time commitments are set collaboratively between the student and employer
✔ Volunteers supporting internships may provide guidance and supervision during agreed upon hours
VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS:✔ Commit to your agreed upon schedule and communicate promptly if conflicts arise
✔ Maintain professionalism, respect, and a positive attitude when interacting with students, staff, and fellow volunteers
✔ Support students’ growth, learning, and creativity in alignment with Junior Edison’s mission and values
